It was obvious to Ulrik from the start that Kirchoff would be of absolutely no help. He could still hear the beast howling from below, and he grimaced as well as a goat could grimace. Though Ulrik was normally quite adept at mountain climbing as a unicorn, he found his skills quite usurped by this goat body. Perhaps being so much larger and muscular was to his detriment here, and he grumbled under his breath as everyone else seemed to pass by save for a few who tripped. Still, he carried onward and upward, going through the first ring and grunting with every step forward. Suddenly, or well, rather suddenly for Ulrik, something that was definitely not snow began to fall from the sky, and he blinked the white from his dark lashes, huffing slightly. The Earth was an interesting mistress whom he respected deeply, but sometimes she could just be a real bitch. (Ulrik still has no idea that the Earth God is male). At first he was unperturbed by the falling stuff, but then it sort of began to build up in crevices and not go away. The buggery fluff got stuck between his toes and made him slip and trip as he went on, but one of the other contestants seemed to have a dragon shield. Normally he would not approve of dragons, but the mindless beast was helping so... He got closer to the white goat and tried to use the dragon shield, but getting tired of that, he summoned his magic and created for himself a little mechanical UMBRELLA. He held the umbrella from a handle that stuck 90 degrees from the stem, and the mechanical, metal thing whirred and clicked as it spun, sending white stuff spewing all over the place. #WC: 297 lulzrik |
