Sacre;
Stumpy legs aside, Sacre blinked in surprise as he found he'd passed two other goats, his rather headless had at least kept him in contention for now. His feelings raged inside as he panicked at remaining in this form and Inari, who had recovered from his fit of humour, kept close company to try and reassure his worried bonded. Every time he tried to say something or make an exclamation, all he heard was the strange scream of a goat, the kind that ripped through the mind making the eyes wince. Each time it happened his little body would jump a little in surprise, expecting to hear his normal equine like tones rather than the rabid sound of a nervous mammal with strange ears and a beard! Sacre wasn't sure about the beard and was slightly worried it aged him, what would Tandavi think of him should she she him like this! Oh praise the Gods please turn him back soon! For now, the colt tried his upmost to concentrate on the race, knobbly knees and all.

As stark blue eyes focussed on the next ring, the sky grew full with something sweet and white grains fell from heaven like snow. At first, Sacre thought it was indeed the white stuff he had grown so used to when living amongst the unicorns of the Basin, yet when it touched his rough goat fur it didn't melt like snow should. Instead it lingered, slowly turning his brown coat white and sticking stubbornly, his tongue would catch the odd sprinkling and all he could taste was a wonderful sugary sweetness. The young kid made a goat like "wow" noise, opening his mouth more to catch the sugar as it fell, tasting the addicting candied rain and Inari did the same thing whilst jumping in the air and flicking his tail from one side to the other.

Beside the wonderful, new white sugar that fell like snow from the sky, magic was rife around them. Sacre could hear the cracking that signalled the falling of rocks, fire and burning could be smelt through the sweetness, reminding him that he was surrounded by strangers. Trying his best, the young spy tried to pour his energy into his little legs, hoping to escape the worst of the magic dealt whilst something else seemed to slip out of him. Like the combination of goat, sugar, race and danger had all combined for this moment to happen, a loss of control Sacre didn't even know he had been keeping and to anybody nearby, they may just find themselves thirsty. The magic was a volatile one, white sweat would turn red and suddenly the mouth would gag for something other than sugar. It was magic Sacre didn't even know he had, until now, when the feeling of something exploding within him vibrated though his body.

The colt shrugged it off with a flicker of worry in his eye as Inari gave him a confused glance. Sacre motioned to the ring before them and together, they jumped through it.
