Thranduil’s riddle sought MEGAERA
Remember though, you get points for correct reasons, not answers.
Earth wrapped in dyes of death, plain though they may be,
1-APPERANCE REF:: Earth=brown, wrapped in dyes of death=black extremities. So a bay, and admitted plain, which Megaera admits on her profile.
Black ties holds the ghost of sight
2- ITEM REF:: Carries a bone eye socket of a horse on black strings in her mane. (Due to miss leading, blindness, as long as on black coat, was accepted)
Maternal blood curses, causing father to encourage the cruelties
3-HISTORY REF:: The mother was according to the clue of scorned blood, Megaera’s mother was an Arabian in a herd of drafts. Her father then encouraged all the taunting of her size in order to make her ‘stronger’.
