The storm filly's head hung mere inches from the ground as she followed her brother slowly away from the floating island. She had seen her father laying dead in the snow, scarlet blood pooling around him. She had wondered vaguely if all dead creatures had the same empty smaller appearance. In life her massive father had been a powerhouse of muscle striking fear into others hearts; in death he had seemed small and fragile. The foals heart was broken, causing her to walk silently beside her brother and his companion. The blue feather he had given her was clamped firmly between her teeth, it was the last thing she had to remember her father. Sighing heavily she turned different colored eyes upon her brother and she wondered how he was still functioning so bravely. They had been unable to find Kiara and her damned cat, not like she really cared, but the filly was sure it had broken Adel's heart.

Pausing for a moment the stormy filly shook her coat shoving the feelings away. 'Adelric needs me to be strong right now. I mean we're hopefully about to meet our new family.' Raising her strange horned head the filly trotted to catch up with her bay blanketed brother. As she pulled up next to his side she tried to bump his shoulder playfully against his. Smiling softly the filly blinked encouragingly at him, noticing for the first time in a while that he was filling out, growing taller than herself. 'That would be ice on the snow if the thinker grows larger than me.' She chuckled softly before quieting down once more to walk proudly next to him.

They were finally nearing the top of the mountain range, which she hoped was where they were supposed to be going. As Adelric pressed against her she leaned back against his chilly hide. She smiled softly as the young buck wove between them, and she was sure he was worried about them both. There was no denying how much colder it was up here snow swirling about their hooves. Grey hide quivered as a shiver ran through her freezing body. As Adelric stopped her eyes found the massive mechanical sentinels. Surprise filled her young heart, but it was pushed out by a sense of power and awe. They were the coolest things she had ever seen drawing her eyes up to theirs. This was clearly were she belonged, in a herd that took pride in it's lands. Her own call joined the bay boy's.

Adelric's words drew her attention. nodding silently she smiled warmly at him. Turning back to, what she was sure was, the entrance to the Basin she stood head and black tail held high with pride. The unicorns here should be proud to have her join their ranks. She would become a great warrior like her father had been. Krieger may have died, but he fire ran deep within his piss and vinegar daughter. She waited silently beside her brother, so similar, yet so different. They were both lost in this world, searching for a place they belonged.
