The call of one black and white stallion strikes your fancy as you move through the land. Truth be told, you don’t look that great. Your stocks of locoweed have all but dwindled to nothing. One, two, maybe three vines remain at the bottom of your bag, and even those are old and growing dry. The winter has been cruel to you, just as it was last year. And last year you swore you’d never go without your drug again, but since you’re an addict with a foggy brain you kind of forgot that the zombies weren’t the only thing that would keep you from your dependency. Your vine does not grow in the cold, not even by the sea.Your body is sweaty even in the cold as you approach this little gathering. You don’t know who in the fuck Ghost is, but you guess as long as she isn’t Seele… Well, that’s a lie. There are several that you would hate to see in charge more than Seele. But then your question is answered as the blackbird steps forward. “Don’t fuck up,” is your elegant response to her wish that she serve’s you well, but the words are sidelong and the normal sarcastic venom that is in your voice is rather lacking. You pace around the group, head bobbing and tail swishing. It’s like you’re not exactly sure what to do with yourself and your body doesn’t really know how to handle being almost-clean.
Three vines. You try to remember who it was you stole drugs from. Three vines. You try to remember who poisoned you. Three vines. These aren’t going to last near long enough. And where the hell is Snowflake? You eyes search for her as you bob and weave, your unsettled breaths noisy in the otherwise calm meeting. Your co-Legatus is lucky his poison of choice flows into a vessel at his side. You have your magic, of course, but you’d be awfully tired if you zapped yourself enough to keep a constant high.
