 Vadim hello teacher tell me whats my lesson look right through me look right through me His head tilts to the side as Nayati bursts from the water and steps into the snow. He wonders if she's cold because it is cold. It is not as cold as the Steppe is, but it is still cold enough for snow to cling to the ground. He bobs his head when she mentions him being alive and well, though he does not know why she claims that it warms her heart that he is. Warmth blooms in his chest and he wonders if he's feeling the same way she is or if its indigestion from the tree bark he had eaten a few hours earlier. 'tupid.' Vlasi snickers, making Vadim snort quietly. As if she has much room to make comments when she is just as oblivious to the world as he is. Vadim's eyes are drawn toward the sky and he finds himself shrinking back at the sight of the dragon. He does not think that Nayati will allow her companion to harm him, but the sight of the red beast up there is somewhat unsettling. His ears tilt back but he forces himself still as the dragon lands upon his withers, making the odd noises that he assumes all dragons make. Vlasi growls a warning at the dragon the sits on her rump and waits for the introductions to be done so they can bed down for the night and sleep. 'Tired' "Have you been well? Is the cold treating you decently?" "Yes." Vadim says as he bobs his head again. "Cold?" He asks as he looks pointedly at her legs, which had been immersed in frigid water and now snow. "You'll get sick." He attempts to scold Nayati, but it falls flat and he sighs. "Why are you here?" He asks next because he is positive that she belongs to a herd. One that can keep her warm during Frostfall. His mind immediately jumps the gun and he begins to wonder if she was outcasted or if she ran away from someone trying to hurt her and his eyes darken. He thinks that Nayati is, by far, one of the kindest and gentlest creatures he's met and, though he is not good at fighting, he will defend her if someone is after her. "." @[Nayati] |
