He can't help but fidget at her wonder of the island. He himself would rather avoid that cursed place at all costs. The gods may have created the island with the best of intentions, but something was wrong about that place. As she spoke, he idly pawed at the snowy turf with a hoof, his ears cocked back slightly. He did not speak until she looked back at him, and even then was silent for a few seconds longer.

"I...would rather avoid that place. There is something evil about that island...well maybe not about it, but on it." He could remember vividly the cold that invaded his body and nearly choked his life away. His gaze focused on the elegant mare, and he allowed a sheepish smile to flicker across his face. "But if you insist, i will go with you. Would not due for a gentleman to leave a lady alone in a possibly dangerous place." He said, dipping his head to her, the smile vanishing, replaced by uncertainty.

"I do ask... let us try other places for graze. If we cannot find any, we can go to the island." He said, trying to find a compromise. As bad as he wanted to linger with this melodic mare, he'd do what he could to avoid the Caela. Eventually he'd have to return there; he strongly disliked being afraid of any place. But... just maybe that day would not be today.
