Ladies...? An icy reception was not what the Bloodskald had intended for this newcomer and potential family member of Ophelia's, but that was exactly what happened. Just as the snow fell and the ground froze, and the magic that coursed through his veins produced freezing effects, so did the pale princess give Phantom a rather algific greeting. Torleik's ears flattened back a little and his eyes narrowed when Ophelia fixed him with a stony expression. Had he done something wrong to bring this mare here? She seemed useful, one that could be a spy - and as far as he knew, they did not have many spies. However, it was quite clear the stallion had displeased the white mare, and his wonderings were cut short when said mare demanded of the other her intentions here. The Crimson King? Riekhan? Who was that? So many questions floated around the Bloodskald's head but he did not think now was the proper time to pose them to either female. So, the warrior-poet took a step back, literally, and readied himself to observe. Whatever was going to happen would happen and he would intervene if necessary - but not until then.
