The meadow was halfway between the Throat and the Falls. Perhaps holding this meeting closer to the Falls would have made sense given that Gaucho and Cera could cover more distance in the air than Oxy could on hoof but ... fair was fair. Secretly, Gaucho was glad. Exhaustion had taken him readily and easily, and the signs of this were obvious. The dark patches around his eyes, normally serving to force ones gaze into his own and creating the illusion of a scowl, now served only to increase how tired Gaucho looked. His wings fell rather loosely at his sides, not held taunt against his flanks as they usually were. Even Mara appeared lethargic, although that probably had more to do with the cold air temperature than anything else. The snake did very little moving on her own, using Gaucho as her primary mode of transportation.

Landing amidst the snow, Gaucho grunted. He fanned his wings, calling forth his magic and directing it almost in a line parallel to the ground. Outwards the arch of fire burst, dwindling near 30 feet and then dissipating all together. Still, the effect was instantaneous: the snow began to melt away, at least in patches, clearing an area for them to comfortably stand. Again Gaucho did this, angling himself slightly more to the left, and then again angling himself to the right until a rough rectangle had been carved out. He had not met Elsa before, not knowing that her primary magic was that of the cold. If he had ... well, he would have done exactly the same thing. Ice magic be damned, he wasn't about to stand knee-deep in snow if he didn't have to.

They needed to discuss what was happening in Helovia, and other than Oxy and Cera, the number that the Wildfire trusted had dwindled significantly. Sohalia was busy with her Academy amongst other things ... and Ampere? Well, Ampere had recently shown a side of herself that Gaucho found ... odd. A side that suggested perhaps she was not as instinctive as He, and had grown past the simple act-first, think later (or never) mentality that governed so many of his actions. She had shown wariness at the thought of attacking whatever darkness plagued Helovia head on, and it was for that reason that he had not invited her here to this little meeting. There was no need to justify Cera's being here; the boy was more like a brother to him now, rather than some difficult to describe son. But Oxy? The idiotic Addict? It was hard to put into words, but their few encounters together had solidified something in the mind of the Wildfire: However different they were, they were alike, even if the ways in which this was the case was hard to specify.

Unsure of who Oxy was bringing to this little rendezvous, Gaucho snorted and waited in the snow-cleared area he constructed for himself and Cera.

So... on this wonderful Frostfall day, she may or may not being going to a meeting that actually exists. She believed what Oxy said, but, then again... there was that little part of her that wondered if she was walking into some weird distorted joke he was going to play. Nevertheless, she would go. Wings spread, she wasn't about to walk if Oxy decided to show up. Walking was so disgusting right now, even if it was snow, it was not fun to trudge through it all the time.

So the ground quickly was eaten up underneath her. The time significantly cut but taking to the sky. Most of the trip was over the edges of the Threshold, and she almost considered going there instead of to this "meeting" but decided still that she had to go. She couldn't betray Oxy like that, even if it was just a meeting. So, when she saw a rectangular thing of grass cut out of the snow, and a just as odd looking pegasus, Elsa angled downward.

Coming near the rectangle, she forced her feet down into the snow a few feet from the perimeter. It billowed up around her, some landing on her back and covering her in a thin layer of white fluff. Stepping into the circle, she eyed the other. She wasn't quite sure what to say to a man that looked more like a caveman than Oxy did. "Uhm, are you that horse I'm supposed to be meeting?" She asked awkwardly. She shuffled a little back to the edge of the snow incase she needed to make a run for it. Edgar, who had been riding between her ears eyed him also. He was usually a background companion, but man, he didn't want to sit out of this painfully awkward greeting.

Her body practically sang of forces in opposition to his. Where his wings burned with fire, her coat glistened with frosty-markings. She was tall and almost stocky in appearance - so many here had long and lean bodies - that she looked almost square-like in contrast. She wasn't, of course, but his herd was filled with so many arabians and slender breeds that he couldn't help but be drawn to her because of the contrast. She appeared strong, and not at all who he had expected. Perhaps it was because Oxy was an equine that he assumed she would be as well. No matter, three pegasi and one equine would be able to cover more ground.

"Elle-Sa?" He asked, exaggeratedly pronouncing her name as he recalled it from his previous meeting with Oxy. Speaking of, why was his brother-in-arms not with her? Had she flown the entire way, leaving Oxy to stumble beneath her? The thought was amusing, thought slightly surprising. How much did she knew about him? Did she know of his magic, his rank, his relationship with the shire? Snorting, he watched as she shuffled back, her hooves finding the snow once again. Did she possess magic that would stem from the crystallized fluid? Fire bristled on his wings at the thought.

"I Gaucho, Sultan of Dragon's Throat." He offered, nostrils flaring. In his antlers Mara slithered forward to eye Edgar. So many in the Throat had creatures like that. Where did they come from, she wondered with a dry hiss. Frostfall was still much to cold for her, and seeing the icy pair did not make her feel any better. Soundlessly she retreated back into the warmth of Gaucho's forelock and mane.
