"Who the fuck am I?" She repeated the stallion's question, her voice mocking. "I am Histe, daughter of Omega and Kei, originally of Isilme." The wind whipped her mane about her neck as it changed direction. The first drops of rain began to fall from the storm overhead, but it was sorely lacking the stinging pain of acid and the sizzle as it landed on exposed flesh. The whole situation seemed awkwardly quiet without the crackling of fire as the dried grass ignited. The air smelled to fresh and clean without acrid stench of smoke and acid.

The dog's reaction to her made the mare's wicked grin widen. Her head snaked forward and she snapped her teeth at the dog. "Come here little puppy." She crooned to the dog before striking the ground with a forehoof, leaving a jagged groove in the ground. Her tail lashed against her haunches as she stepped closer. "Little lost puppy." Her gaze was lifted to the stallion. "And his little lost master." Her hoof struck the ground again before she raised her head high in response to the stallion's next question.

Why did she attack?

"Why not? Was it not polite?" As if she had a real concern for niceties or manners. She was born to wolves and was taught to attack and kill from the time she could walk.

"What are you waiting for? Kill them already."

"Patience!" Histe snapped, her ears tilting back against her head. There was plenty of time left to attack the stallion and kill him and his dog. She already knew how she would do it, too. She'd cleave the dog's head in and she'd burn his master so the rest of his body matched his disfigured face.
