What in the hell was he doing back in this place? Shaking those twin horns the golden moved with an old grace through the muddy terrain of the pines. Though the gold was glad for the break in the cold, the constant mud was most certainly not worth it. Mud splashed up on the gold’s fetlocks, making his harks pin back. The gold was not a neat freak, but a handsome look is all a man has these days. Especially since he got that fawn. Snorting the gold lashes about his tasseled tail in anger at the thought of that small creature. The sickness which had caused him a lapse in judgment certainly was still bearing punishment on him through that black spotted babe. It was so needy, and such a burden. The gold was glad to be rid of it. Most certainly if he could the gold would have left the fawn tucked away in some hide out to be adopted by a doe who cared or whatever fate decided to do with it. Unfortunately however, the golden had yet to be able to completely leave it long enough, for always an errie feeling came over him.

It had yet to touch him so far, so the gold was making good use of his time to leave the frozen landscape. Was he here to find others? Not exactly, but it seemed, as usual, this land would not let him pass through so easily. A clop on rocks made those golden harks pick up and his two beat slow to a walk. Another was lurking in this pine forest. Regaining his composure by raising his head holding a proud chest the gold moved into sight of the other, who was now stopped. The creature was not too much to look at. Stocky, and redish dun color, this creature was not much to look at. However, the curious marking about his face made the golden stay. Course his earth eyes did not linger too long, but that tassled tail flicked back and forth. Nodding his twin horned head the golden let a small, pensive smile play on his lips. “Greetings.” It was all the gold said, for his luck here in this place was rather….sparse, and it seemed the more he always tried to hurry up this ordeal the less effective his sales pitch was. Still, no others had yet shown up, and this poor creature seemed worse for wear. The Basin would take all kinds though, long as they carried a horn, so lucky for this ducky he was about to be invited.
