Rhiyn wasn't the timid colt he had once been. The sooty stallion stood at a sturdy sixteen hands; though he didn't have as much muscle as he should have. He had the look of a horse that had been looking for someone--or something--for a long time. It was an accurate appearance. He had spent the majority of two years (not that he realized it had been so long) searching for his mother and younger sister. His tail twitched in antipation. Would they recognize him? Had they missed him?
Would they accept him? His memory was hazy--the shadows back in their old home... Would they mistake him for one of them? Did he look like one? Did he smell like one? The logic that he couldn't scented a shade before didn't spark in his mind. He glanced to his dragon, Lorei.
The tiny green was sitting on his shoulder, waiting for a command. Would they find Smoke? Kimber? Anyone?
