Keahi does not necessarily like to be summoned by the moon wench, less does she enjoy being surrounded by moon followers, but she chooses to wisely hold her tongue. The black fem says nothing as she joins the gathering, even less as she turns to make her way to the starting point. The travel here had been long, but so many of the other participants had done it as well, so the playing field seemed even either way. Leonine tail whips lazily behind her as she soundlessly slips into the water, and when the starting signal is done, she starts to move forward. She would have loved a sprint, but alas, she is not the designer of this brilliant competition. Trying to spare her energy, she places herself in the wake in one of the moon followers, a black mare with red hair, so that she might enjoy the slipstream instead of breaking water on her own. Glancing around, she sees that she is in quite a favorable position, cloven hooves kicking and paddling a little faster to keep up the good pace of the others.
