The Mender followed the strange summons, the notion of alterations springing forth from earthly passions: she wasn’t sure she understood all of the machinations and designs, the great ship looming before them, but the lithe nymph knew she couldn’t miss out on the adventure. Her eyes widened, gaping slightly at the massive boat, Imogen chirping behind her in excitement and ebullience. But they couldn’t go alone, pairing off and segmenting into rooms and floors, clustering together in safety, sanctum, and comfort. Lena’s eyes shifted amidst the crowd, searching for one particular individual along the building din and cacophony, gently pushing her way through the hordes when she spotted a gilded Thief’s hide. Tilting her head, bestowing a sanguine smile, she pulsed with restless ambitions, courted some wild vivacity she hadn’t felt in seasons and ages: perhaps these strange tasks would undermine all of the melancholy forged along her bones. Elegant and regal, she dipped her crown towards the chosen companion, composing her delicate aria as she closed in and ceased movement before the golden stag. “Roland!
