 It was easy to see, as she looked around, that everyone was pairing off. Immediately, she began scanning the crowd for faces- who would she enter the boat with? Kaj? Definitely not. She still wasn’t ready to make up with him- he had hurt her deeply. Mauja? She took a step towards him, heart light and joyous, until she saw that he was matched already with an unknown mare. She frowned. Thranduil? But no, he too was otherwise occupied. Well… then no men. Resplendence? With Quilyan. Alysanne? No, it seemed she had a partner as well. When her eyes finally fell on Brisa, the Sunshower almost didn’t believe that the Glazier did not have a partner yet. After all, even her newborn child had found a partnership with another filly. Still, with nobody at her side, the queen had to try, or risk drowning on land because she could not find a friend. “Would you like to board together?” she asked Brisa as she approached, a gentle smile on her face.
