Destrier  Carrying a basket within my mouth was, without a doubt, one of the strangest feelings I had yet to experience, but I did so knowing the life of the child inside depended solely on myself and Suli. The green dragoness had lined the basket with lush leaves and thick grasses to assure its security and warmth while we made the trek from the Edge to the meadow, where equines, pegasi and unicorns from all corners of the land had gathered, perhaps for the first time in Helovian history. After all, to disobey the Earth's warning surely meant death. There were several I recognized, most of whom held their allegiance to the Edge, but they seemed to have already paired up. Coming to a halt and gently setting the basket down between my front legs, Suli taking perch between my ears, I scanned the faces of those around me until I found myself looking upon a familiar face of gold and white. "Romani!" I bellowed, beckoning the warrior over, hoping she would hear me over the commotion of the crowd. When she did come, I extended my muzzle to her in my typical way of greeting, bumping it against her own before speaking again. "Will you board with me, sister?
