Coming back to the ship had been hard for the Sleuth. She had expected to finish the tasks with Ghost… had expected victory with the Czarina at her side. However, fate had a way of working in mysterious ways and Essetia had no doubt that the Gods would see her rewarded for her efforts. Upon find her way back to the Meadow, the Sleuth took a moment to breathe in the atmosphere and the heat and the insanity. It was something so superb and so meticulous… everyone was rushing around, dancing right around the truth and yet too distracted to see it. Whatever was going on, it would remain hidden and it until it was revealed, Essetia and Romul would play the game. The mare glanced around time and again in search of one free spirit, one unchained specimen willing to help her in her toils. It was then that she spotted Kiara, the medic that had healed her after her spar with Midas. The Sleuth approached slowly and smiled, “If you’re not already taken… would you like to be my partner?” |
