Einarr did not understand the important of this tree, even as the other members of his herd obsessed over it. Even his khal was mesmerized by its structure and blood. He followed Megaera, letting her lead this part of their mission. the God of the Earth had commanded them to save plants, but Einarr did not care about plants. He knew they needed to survive in order for horses to survive, but his heart was not in this mission as it had been their last ones. The inky stallion wondered why the Earth God needed them to collect water and plants--could he not make these things himself? He was a god of untold power, wielding earth and water at the very flick of his tail, and yet he had mortals gathering bits and pieces of the very things he wanted to cleanse. It confused the inky stallion, but he followed nonetheless, obedient to the workings of a god, even if they were beyond his knowledge.
