The deer comes to her with all the joy it had shown the other her. She doesn't pause in her ambitious arrival, but she does spare it a curious glance, wondering if it was a similar figmentation, or a real creature drawn to her own enigma. She wasn't left wondering for long however, her own steps closing the gap between her two selves, and the response was fascinating.
Her other self seemed to retreat, its cries lashing out like a wounded thing as if it feared its own discovery. Was it the attempt of the fictitious reality to remain a distant haze, the way dreams always warped whenever you became too aware or how Mirage's always danced in the distance? Was it her subconscious balking at the ruination of something beautiful and fantastical? It certainly gaze her hesitation, but like a bull she continued to plow on, only stopping as very real wings beat her back in a flurry of wind which rocked around her. Dreams could feel real too, but this felt, different.
Then it melted away, revealing a golden stag she vaguely recalled. Another "what?" flustered from her mouth, 'brows knit with confusion. She took a step back, wary of whatever this was, uncertain of this unknown. "What are you?" she asked after a pause, her tones laced with awe for his prowess. Instead of fear or rage she was enthralled, lost in the contours of his body that had moments before been hers.
"How did you do that?! It's amazing!" Her mind was already racing with possible applications, giving a slow spread of a smile to the dark pull of her lips. "Can you replicate every bit of myself? Can you fly, practice my magic?"
