The urgency of the tone in which her name was called was what caught the tobiano's attention. Her head drifted softly from the edge of the water, ears perked and tilted to catch the tones reaching for her out of the desert. Sure, steady hoofbeats began to fall as her body turned from the edge of the lake and backward, out toward the sand of the Dragon's Throat and toward the echoing origin of the request.

Healing.

Onni had never thought that she would become a healer, but since her stay in Helovia, the mare had found that the occupation suited her well. The care that it took to treat someone was what had instilled in her a sense of patience she had not entirely known before. The kindness which usurped her heart from the start was also enlarged, wishing to extend it to all equines within Helovia, to help them instead of hurt. The training she had received for battle had been deemed worthless to the painted mare, except in the dire times of defense. Protection of those you love outweighs all, even peace. Her mother had been the one to teach her such a thing.

Pale blue eyes quickly latch onto a dark figure in the terrain of red, and Onni makes her way quickly toward the mare. Her face was familiar, though the name escaped her, but a smile still awaits her herd mate as the pegasus comes to a halt before her. The sweat lathering her sides told Onni that she had likely run here, hasty to get her aid. Worry began to furrow on her brow, and the painted mare's bright face turned to one of concern. "What is the matter?"

Ear flicks back slightly as Ktulu reveals the patient in question. A bear? The mare had never had much experience with large predators. Her mother had told her once that Zodiac had the ability to turn into a big cat, but just how big was it? That was different than the ferocious beast that a bear could be. From what Onni remembered, bears were large creatures with long claws and sharp teeth. However, Ktulu had returned here relatively unharmed. What could be the danger, really?

Gritting her teeth, Onni's expression turns doubtful for one painful moment. Her resolution comes slowly, and her pale face acts as little more than a flimsy veil for her emotions as she flounders with what to do. No matter who or what was injured, though, they were in pain. If she could heal pegasus, surely a bear would be no different. There was no reason to suspect herself as lunch, especially if she was aiding the creature. Ultimately, Onni's heart softens and melts, allowing for her face to take on a look of compassion. "Lead the way."
