The GOD of the SPARK

On a long enough timeline, the survival rate of everyone drops to zero

The God ultimately didn't care much about the the tent, or how often it was used. A balance had been struck between what it was the Basin wanted and what they were willing to lose - that appeased the God enough to grant them his aid. Although he did have to admit, there seemed precious little activity happening within the tent. His lips pursed slightly at the thought, and he wondered if the Engineer didn't secretly harbour some resentment towards his herd. Ulrik had given so much, and for what? A tourist attraction ?

As Ulrik continued to speak, the God's lips parted and he laughed heartily. The sound was lively and light, like sheet lightning lighting up a summers evening. So many offered their pretentious musings on the status of Gods, or declared their fealty and reverence. They wasted so much of his time by declaring that they knew how much he hated to have it wasted. Ulrik's baldness was appreciated, and his statement amusing.

"As you will remember, the body is ... a rather delicate area to work in. You need to reintegrate yourself into the minute workings of nature, Ulrik. All that I ask is that you ... update yourself. Make three machines that are ... out of your areas of expertise." In his minds eye the God pictured the wolf-creature he had seen following Sno in seasons past, as well as the mammoth sentinels. "Metal is not all there is, and things that bite and kill are not all that you are capable of. " The God snorted, regarding the Engineer. Would he rise to the task, excited about the idea of creating something new and challenging his skills? Or would he grumble about unbroken things, and not needing to fix them?

The God's form began to waver as he let himself be pulled back into the time streams. However an idea dawned upon him, and his electric gaze sparked back into reality - bright and blazing. "Oh Ulrik? Bonus marks if you let others help you."

And with that, the God was gone.

In order to regain his magic, Ulrik must create three new machines that are out of his area of expertise. Additionally, the God has challenged him to let others help. Whether this means letting them aid Ulrik during his quest, or using other materials from other Helovian's is up to you.
