we'll be celebrating - dancing until dawn
That long trek she had taken, the long walk from her home where she could never return, to here where she walked – the one sight that had made her stop, made her slow and made her journey to Helovia so much longer was the great endless ocean, the poison water that was undrinkable – and the roll shoreline of water, where it crashed violently against the edge of the world and turned the earth to sand – Keera had been able to leave it quickly.
In her traveling, discovering Helovia and the wonders it held, she was now locked in the embrace of the wind and the water of the endless blue, where the roar of the swell was loud to her ears but quiet to her heart, stilling to her nerves – and the smell was all water and salt, the taste of the air tangy and strange but still invigorating to her senses.
Keera dashed down to the sand and the rock, leaving the soft surface and standing tall upon the rocks where the tide had fallen and left pools of water. She peered down into one, looking and watching the little creatures that lived here; something shelled, little fish that vanished from her sight into the shadow, and Keera couldn't help but give a childish grin.
She swung her head up and gave a few dancing strides in place, moving easily from one leg to another as she bounded over the rocks until she came to standing where the waves crashed against them, spraying her with the strange tasting water. She closed her eyes and drank it in, inhaling when she knew it was clear.
Upon opening her eyes she took a step back, out of the path of the water but she stayed there, down by the shoreline; Keera was so fascinated by the ocean and its wonders, and she was to so enraptured and lost in all her senses that she had forgotten she was no longer alone here in the bounds of Helovia – and therefore, was oblivious to any who may have been approaching or had been watching her during her strange revelries.
