Grimalkin was pleased of his find in this stallion. A new friend, a comrade - a wealth of knowledge he was more than happy to tap and extract from. The brute, while a bit frosty at first, seemed to warm up quickly (especially with the suggestion of heading home). Though Grimalkin yearned to explore and learn and discover, he simply was not that desperate - and besides, he did still have so much to learn about the home he was already in.

So he kept stride with the stallion, idly watching the hound disappear into the distance, and appearing to idly listen to the snippets of history the stallion gave him - though truly he was captivated by the tale. That the lands were 'created' nearly blew the young one's mind - had they not always been there? What was there before the great unfrozen lake, the caves and the mountains? The God of Time - how had he crafted it? Did he raised the mountains, or drop the earth to allow the lake to form? Did he summon it from another time period and simply allow it to exist now?

And a battle - a war. That interested the chocolate palomino. He raised a brow as he chewed on the tidbits of information given to him, and could have wet himself with happiness as the stallion offered to illuminate on the specifics for him.

Only, Grimalkin wanted to know everything - the specifics of all that was or ever had been. He yearned to know it all, to absorb all the histories of Helovia so that he might predict how the future would play out - for one thing history taught us, was that it was repetitive, like a hand tracing its path around a clock-face, there was ever-familiar numbers it would pass. One day, Grimalkin would know all of this, but for now, he made the hard (hard for him, at least, to choose between different pieces of knowledge to learn) decision, and presented it with warm lyrics to his comrade.

"The Gods.. Have you had much to do with them?"
