Their healing flowed through this blood, strengthening him - they were getting closer. Every second he grew stronger, he was almost ready to get to his feet. Yet the book had other idea with the creations of these monsters. It was with horror that he watched Roskuld charge at another creature, courageous to a fault. The spunky demi god began bolting for the creature, cutting across its path- her horn was rammed into the creature’s body as showers of sparks erupted and a bolt flew before Roskuld, pricing the creature’s body allowing it’s life’s blood to flow from it’s veins. What bled from the creature was sticky, thick black ink. It screams were unnatural and absolutely horrendous, they had to shut it up quickly.

Above him Isopia took flight, leaving his head while still in her raven form. The formation of water is summoned, a dragon twisting and ready to fight. It flows and almost looks natural for a moment, before it is dumped over the creature that is attacking Roskuld. The water priecies the creature's body and screams of anger and pain come from the abonation before it explodes. Roskuld is completely drenched in ink, a few vital organs and whatever else had come from the creature as it exploded. It drips from the demi god, onto the ground where it stained the grass, unmoving and quite harmless.

On the other side of the dragon, Aithniel and Mesec are working together to finish the second creature and healing him. The dragon felt the heat as Aithniel summoned a large fireball and threw it at the creature, it hit it's mark burning away flesh and causing ink to spout from the ruined side of the creature. "Hurry! We are so close now!" Their tack changed and suddenly Aithniel was hurrying over to heal him while Mesec took over dealing with the creature. With the demi god of fire healing him, the dragon watched as Mesec lunged at the creature - then vanished into the shadow only to reappear on the other side of the creature. Each time Mesec lunged and then disappeared, the more frustrated the creature grew! It's screams of anger and annoyance pierced the hearing of those around it, all too quickly it had become confused and furious with the dark demi god. Finally Mesec got a lucky hit, his hoof driving into the creature's body. Ink sprayed over the already dark son, while the cries of pain sounded from the abomination.

The next second Aithniel ran back to the monster, wings flapping hard to gain her speed and Mesec disappeared once more - only this time reappearing at the side of the dragon. Now Mesec took over the last of his healing while Aithniel began firing tiny fireballs back at the monster. They hit their marks, but it was the one that found the hole that Mesec had created that truly finished the creature. it entered the creature, burning away at everything that held it together before finally the second creature also exploded dousing everything with a fresh layer of ink and monster guts.

Both portals rippled and then vanished.

As they finished the final creature the book let out a scream of anger and spawned another creature. This one would not be something the demi god's had to deal with though. With a huge roar he was free!! Stretching his wings he surged to his feet, once again mighty and ready for battle. He turned to the final abomination that had spawned and howled his rage. Within him the fire’s grew until finally he opened his mouth wide and unleashed a monstrous bout of flame. It slashed through the air and finished the abomination where it stood. The portal didn't have time to properly spawn.

The great beast made his way over to the book and slammed it shut, silencing it’s cries of anger.
With that he turned to the four demi gods and smiled, proud of their efforts and forever thankful for the help they had just given him. Because of them Helovia was safe for another day. "Thank you." He looks at each of them in turn, they all may be battered and bruised but they should be extremely proud of the effort and skill they showed today. Turning to his ripped satchel the dragon sighed and began to collect what he could, gathering up his precious items in to the parts of the bag that still held.

When he was finally done he looked at the abomination that he was finished. It appeared that his fire had cleansed the ink, it was not only safe but had come infused with magical properties. Upon the ground it was glowing, sparking in the light. From his bag he pulled out four vials and scooped a generous amount into each."You can use this in crafting, it will decorate an item of your choosing." He passed a vial to each demi with a warning. "Once the blood has been used the vial will shatter, be wary." A gift to show his thanks, smiling at each of them he turned his head towards the sky, desperate to get home.
"Thank you again friends, but now I must return. I hope to see you again under better circumstances." He began stretching his almighty wings, letting the cramps and cricks out of them. With three almighty beats of his wings the dragon was off, soaring into the distance and disappearing within moments.

The forest was silent, ink dripped from the trees, the ground was burned and stained and the trees from where the dragon had crash landed where completely destroyed. After a moment bird song filled the forest returning it to how it should be.

____________
