is there a powder to erase this?

Although he stopped to gain perception of his pine-riddled surroundings, Cavalli's deep-cobalt irises flickered among the canopies with no hint of interest. He did, however, continue to contemplate the whereabouts of the natives (he was sure others dwelled here). He drew in a lungful of early Orangemoon air through pulsing nostrils, letting the dank smell swirl and dance within him before blowing it out once more. Fragrances of pine-needle and soil dominated his senses, but as he breathed he could almost swear he tasted a scent that didn't belong to flora, although it was very faint and he disregarded it promptly. Absentmindedly tossing his pale hued tail against his flank, muscles tensed and he began his slow progression through the woods. He was generally attentive, the further he pressed on the worse his headache advanced. The pegasus seriously considered lying down and giving up on his travels, but before he was granted the chance to dwell on such ideas, a ripe noise disrupted the near quiet of the forest and Cavalli lifted his head slowly. The sound resembled that of a voice, but an overwhelmingly unfamiliar voice at that, and he hesitated. Somewhat lifeless ears grew leisurely erect, swiveling slightly foreward atop his crown as his face turned in the direction of the inaudible call. He didn't say anything and silently refused to move, but when he caught sight of a smaller, gangly figure cantering towards him he could guess that it was the possessor of the odd call.

The man was confused. Who and what was this thing coming towards him at such a quick rate? Why had it called out? Cavalli stood in his place, focus planted on the approaching form, blinking occasionally in vague curiosity. The creature's spindly body revealed youth, and its ebon-ivory complexion was adorned with wings. A pegasus like himself, he noted. An unspoken comeraderie. The stranger came to a halt before Cavalli, and only then did he notice another smaller animal settled upon the back of the younger pegasus. "Seen home?" The dialogue lifted his attention from the hitch-hiking pup to the child beneath.

For a moment, Cavalli said nothing. Navy eyes merely loitered on the stranger's face. Slowly, he allowed a low, lengthy sigh to release from his nostrils before unhinging his jaw to respond. "Uh," he started, otherwise perked lobes wilting a bit in puzzlement. He despensed another sigh. "Where's home for you?" The latter part of his response to the filly came out more as a general statement than an inquiry.

Cavalli didn't mind kids. They were tolerable, sometimes more so than the adults, but still he was at a loss when it came to interacting with them. Watching carefully as if the unfamiliar stranger was a specimen beneath a microscope, Cavalli's aching brain pondered about the winged creature. He couldn't attempt to guess why she was alone here in the depths of the forestry. Surely she lived somewhere of close proximity. Blinking down at her, the pegasus glanced slowly towards her wings. From what he could tell, they were functional. Initially, he felt a medley of vague amusement and livid jealousy, but the emotions washed away from his mind as his distant gaze settled on the child's face.
