She had tried to escape. It wasn't the attempt that bothered him, it was the way she half-assed it. She had been here for months now, away from her children and her freedom, and never once had she bothered to seek Gaucho out. Never once had she demanded a trial, a jury, or justice. Regardless of how barbaric she found him, it was at least worth a try. That way, she could throw it in his face in front of others like Ampere. Others who would take her side, perhaps even aid in her escape. But she had done nothing. And when nothing took too long, she had simply waded into the water. As if they wouldn't notice. But they had. Her escape had been thwarted and nothing changed. She did not promise to leave the Basin alone, she did not barter for her children. Gaucho had told her that they could accompany her here, but she had not accepted. Still, he wasn't surprised. Gliding down from the overcasts skies, the Wildfire came: black on fire. Every inch of him seemed to burn as his scorched body dropped from the gray ceiling and dove towards the bloody sands. This was his home, and there was never even a moment that he did not know where his prisoner was. Through the reports of his warriors he monitored her, and through the eyes of Vorsa and Mara he kept and eye out. Cantering upon barred black limbs, he carried himself with an authoritative grace across the sands, to the skull-masked mare. His prisoner. His burden. "Escape fail." He grunted as he came to a halt. Sweat dripped down his muscular flanks and shoulders, as his steely gaze bore out at her from behind his primitive features. @[Confutatis] Gaucho the Wildfire
