I'm out of sight. I'm out of mind.
Past the lake, over the mountains, into the dark forest stood a dark brown mare. Unusual you could say, for she had one curved dear horn upon her dome. She also had a stripe to follow the horn and along her left front and back right leg whom the white socks laid. Daring green pearls and a built body, mighty for such a young mare. A scarlet rose you can see, stays alone all the time and never leaves home. Aurelli, was the name of this beauty.

Aurelli cantered through the dark green forest, swerving around the passing trees. She skid to a stop at the edge of her home. Turning around, she saw a lonely lake and trotted toward it. When Aurelli reached the lake she dipped her dome and took large sips of the cooling water. She raised her head once her thirst had been filled. Her harks raced upward as she heard noises coming from outside the forest. Aurelli snorted, rearing up and then taking off to her small den in the middle of the forest.

"And just what is a lovely mare like you wandering out here alone?" Clipped, short tones queried. It was a voice devoid of care, a voice filled with sorrowful inflections. The handsome Akhal Teke unicorn gazed emotionlessly at the unicorn wandering through the forest, cold but unthreatening humor in his dark eyes. His lion's tail flicked up, curling up in surprise at the unicorn wandering through. A spiralling black horn thrust up from between his eyes, a thin, ribby thing that was sharpened to a deadly point.

Quiach was filled with regret and bitter betrayal. His loved one, one who was supposed to his mate, lovely Rehovah, had left him. Gone, disappeared, without a trace. After telling him how much she loved him, cared for him. Bitter, bitter, regret. Hate seeped through every pore at any pegasus mare. White ones in particular. He didn't want to hurt anyone, but Ree had left him. A jewel teardrop glistened at his eye. The powerful but thin stallion sighed again, despair flickering inside him. "Really, you shouldn't be here alone. You never know who will come and seem to love you, only to betray you." The philosopher's voice was filled with distress.

"blah blah blah."

It wasn't that long since Arabella had joined World's Edge, and left the Threshold, but for some reason she found herself returning to the place where she'd been offered a home. After being helped so nicely, she felt obliged to help someone else too, and so, she trotted leisurely through the forest, waiting to find someone, or for someone to find her. The spotted mare stopped suddenly, her nostrils flared as she picked up a scent of another unicorn nearby.

Arabella eventually found the unicorn, no, unicorns, that the smell belonged too. The first was a small, dark coloured mare, who had bright green eyes, not unlike herself. Her scent was the one she had originally picked up. The second unicorn was a stallion, and, being naturally wary of males, she moved slightly away from him, and closer to the mare. "...You never know who will come and seem to love you, only to betray you" Geez, cheer up she thought to herself as the bay stallion spoke.

Turning her attention back to the stocky unicorn, she smiled "Hi there, I'm Arabella"
