This was it, all or nothing now. The roan had moved up in position slightly and she was going to keep it that was if she could help it. They were all moving south, the last leg of the race. They ran from the World's Edge, moving in and out of the trees just as she had in the Deep Forest. Her breathing was heavy, as it had been a long while since she had run so hard so long. The last time had been upon her arrival into Helovia, running away from her old home. Thinking of her mother she dug in, finding an iner strenght that she didn't think she had left.

They entered the Endless Blue, and looking up across the sand she could see her. Up on a huge rock, was the Goddess of the Moon herself. The appaloosa mix dug in harder, the speed from her thoroughberd half kicking in. It was now or never. She had to pass the other four and make it to the finish line first..... She just had to win... To show she wasn't weak anymore.
