"Where brilliance is good and madness is better..."
Helovia Info
Helovia opened in February 2012! We are an active fantasy equine RPG
Where once the world narrowed into naught but gray dust and desolation, the gods called for life. Wielding the elements of fire and light, dark and wind, earth and water, spark and time, they have created Helovia. The realm is set within the mythical globe of Loorien, a planet rich with all variety of creatures and blessed with all manner of magic. Originally populated by nomadic, tribal characters, they've since grown into massive empires saturated with culture and history. Separated into four distinct segments of Helovia, called "The Regions," each band of horse strong enough and capable enough, took up the power and responsibility of leadership. Unicorns, old, wise and mysterious, took to the north, hidden in forests of mists and shadows and rarely making themselves known beyond their cliffs of the World's Edge. Equines, vast, organized and militaristic, split into two, one group went north to the Windtossed Foothills and the other group went south to the Dragon's Throat. Pegasus remained nomadic, making their homes in various parts of The Wilds in a migratory manner. For many generations, the land was peaceful and calm, but peace was never the way of the gods. With a clash of argument, war and bloodshed massacred Helovia, and in the aftermath, the realm was eerily quiet. Now, as newcomers sweep into this land, they are met with the lingering bitterness of the gods and the struggle to reclaim what was lost. Nothing remains safe or certain while sorcerers and soldiers alike brood and bide their time for revenge, honor and glory.

☼ - 7/19/13 - The moon has risen in the sky, heralding the return of the Goddess of the moon. Lamp trees which light the paths have grown brighter, moon flowers which grow in dark places have begun to grow and prosper and the world is brighter, filled with a new hope.
Endless Night :: Dead Magic Plot ☼ - 6/22/13 - The gods of Helovia, in order to protect the world, have disappeared into the rift, leaving the world sunless, moonless and magic-less in their absence. Only the herdlands have a source of light, but lamp-trees with glowing leaves and branches sporadically line the popular roads and paths from place to place.
Doppleganger Plot ☼ - 6/20/13 - The God of Time is still struggling to close the rift though which the dopplegangers have come. He has requested that his brothers and sister assist in closing this hole, but without knowing why it opened, the task is proving difficult. Magic still remains faulty and hard to control, but the herdlands continue to be places of refuge for those who are fortunate enough to call these lands home.
ORANGEMOON cools off the lands with a a viscious force. Colder than normal, a sign of things to come during Frostfall, Helovia is bathed in a rich tropical lushness - albiet a cold one. The coastlines of the Dragon's Throat are pelted constantly by tidal waves, and the desert climate is humid but chilly. Ice begins to form early in the Aurora Basin leaving the winding trails slick and dangerous. The mists of the World's Edge coat everything in a glistening crystalline shine which encourages mould to grow everywhere. The Spectral Marsh is the only area which remains fertile, blissfully temperature and lush.

Character of the Month for
June, 2017
WEAVER, Corporal of the Aurora Basin, is a relatively recent addition to Helovia and has taken it by storm. Branded with the seal of Death on her chest, intrigue and interest follow both her past and present. Though she is assuredly beautiful, her sometimes sharp personality reveals that there is more to this uni-peg hybrid than meets the eye. Proving herself able on the battlefield in the Basin’s warrior ranks, we can’t wait to see her test her mettle against the looming Kaos happenings! Congratulations!
Helovia RPG was created by Tamme and Blu and coded by Tamme also known as Schwartze. All coding, palettes and imagery are copyrighted to the website and are not for use outside of Helovia. Thank you to our ServerMaster for hosting Helovia. A special thanks goes to Neo for all of her coding help and fixing Tamme's errors, Boom, for her loyal service and creation of the Time God, and to Ali for her consistent contributions and dedication.

Tilney Give light, and the darkness will disappear of itself. Eagerly stepping forward, cloven stones carried him into a slow trott. FIRE! was his only thought. He didnt even consider there could be danger. Tilney rushed closer, and the image of a silver equine who was probably just as startled as he came more and more clear. He hoped he didn't look as though he was lunging at her, or trying to chase her; Slowing his muscled legs to a walk he crept closer, eyeing the fire closely. He had no idea there was a ridiculous smile plastered all over his chiseled face.
"Hello!" He panted once again, now only a few feet from the magnificent mare. Where he was from there couldnt be a more dangerous place for mares then the forest. It was very odd to see this one all alone. He couldn't stop staring at the fire flickering from her mane and tail. He had only ever seen the fire his mother made with her magic, so this was just like seeing pure magic and miracles again right before his eyes. "Fire" he whipered softly. He must of looked like a bit of an idiot, but this totally enchanted him.

Nothing but happiness clouded Tilneys head today. He had woken up as a citizen of the Worlds Edge. He felt a sense of belonging that he hadn't in a long time and there was something completely refreshing about the oceans breeze that drifted through the trees. Refreshed he was in other ways too; He was here, starting again.
As he tread through his new home he nodded to each citizen he passed, nothing short of totally in awe of the forest he was stepping through. To some passers by he would utter a soft "lovely day isnt it!" or a simle "hello I'm Tilney!", not even thinking his over-friendliness could be annoying.
He would be forever grateful to the elephantine King for allowing him to stay and also for allowing him to continue the career he had started at his previous home. Healing, Curing, fixing and soothing were passions of this young stallion. With such an empathetic mind as his it was hard for him to see others suffer, and so he decided he would pay a visit to the Moon Doctors. It was they who could teach him all he needed to know if he wanted to become one himself one day. He wished to learn everything he could about healing and maybe even make some discoveries of his own.
Where was he to find them though?
He had heard of a glade of gardens and greenhouses where they could be found but he wasn't certain on where to find such a glorious sounding dale. And so his trek began. Clambering over tree spotted hills and running down through gullys, Tilney came to clifftops and creeks. He didn't really mind that he had gone in circles and loops and the glade he sought really had not been far from the point he started.
Eventually though he did find that glorious garden, though not a soul was in sight. Even if his journey would seem to some as being for nothing Tilney was still enchanted by the glorious flowers and plants that filled the glade. Dipping his nose, the young stag inhaled the precious yellow pollen of a bright purple lily-like flower. It didn't cross him until the dizzyness hit that he could of in fact inhaled something quite poisonous. He danced in a dizzy, faint state around the garden wondering about each plants good and bad properties until he stumbled right over, his left front leg tangled in a web of ivy. Too dizzy to fix himself back to a standing position, the stag just happily lay under the plants, unbeknownst to him the yellow pollen of the nightshade flower was taking effect.

He panted once again, now only a few feet from the magnificent mare.

Wishing he didn't care about Calstron and how he was healing was an impractical way to spend an afternoon.
As Tilney tended to some ferns in the greenhouse he constantly found his mind lingering back to that godforsaken stallion, hoping that he was healing yet still managed to slither out of the Edges back door. Maybe it was just a doctors worry to care for his patients wellbeing, no matter who they were. It was strange for Tilney on the other hand, given his attitude towards the pegasus the night before.
Apologies to Evangeline were in order for his brash attitude, and also a great thanks for understanding him. He would also make sure she knew he understood her also, and that he was wrong on some counts.
Tallis must be thankted also, for damn near saving him. If that horn had plunged anywhere near his heart it would of caused irreversible damage, the kind maybe Mother Moon might not be able to reverse. The little dragon was quite the hero.
With his head full of regrets, promises and small talk the Moon Doctor went about his business in the gardens. There were dead plants to be disposed of over the edge for example, Orangemoons frost having burned them right out of their lock in the soil. Another job he might tend to was the weeds that sprouted and aimed to choke the plants they actually wanted to grow.
At the days end, just before sundown, Tilney decided he would stay back a while longer and hoped that Evangeline might come by; they needed to have words.
