The girl finds all of this very interesting. There were whispers that someone had stalked the shadows, looking for their Stormbringer, but Isopia had assumed that it was all gossip and nothing more. After all, Kaj was one of the most reasonable creatures she had met - why would anyone try to use deception and force to try and gain his ear? Why not simply ask? And so, as the Stormbringer brought a new face into their midst, the girl watched with interest. In her raven form, she glided easily in lazy circle overhead. They didn't speak much at first, but soon Kaj's voice rose up and entered her ears. The sound drew her lower. Surely he would recognize her - he had seen her often enough in this form. If nothing else, the skull-markings that appeared even in this form would surely give her away. Perhaps not to his prisoner, but to the Czar for certain. He offered her food and medicine. Nothing interesting yet. The girl wanted to know why he had brought her here, and why she had tried to subvert him in the first place. In an even lower circle, Isopia flew. Her raven-black wings caught and gently held the breeze beneath her. Her golden eyes peered intently below, as she forced herself to hear every scrap of conversation. It didn't even cross her mind that Kaj might be bothered by her appearance here. Why should he? It was mere intrigue and nothing more. She didn't judge him - or Drom for that matter. What they did held little fascination for her. Why they did it on the other hand, did. So she flew, and she listened. No need to wait for me. Iso is just being a creep and eavesdropping. |
