Name of the Board:: Glacial Graveyard
Location :: To the right of the Steppe
Biome :: Tundra/Frozen plain
Land description:: Continue through the arctic reaches of the Steppe and the land widens into a vast treeless snow-plain as far as the eye can see. Rumour has it that this used to be an ocean, until one day a great chill froze everything without warning, leaving the world trapped in stasis. Looking up, giant ice-structures curl over, frozen waves doomed never to crash down; some are knee-height, some are so high their tips disappear into the low-hanging clouds. Beneath the icy ground there's a queer groaning, as the great ocean below fights to break through the thick crust above. But this isn't what captures the eye most of all, no. Across the frigid land are bones, from massive skulls to rib-bones larger than the largest horse. Like eerie mountains they stand sentinel, the remains of colossal whales who died thrashing on the surface when the sea froze over.
