Event The owl watched the three arrive with large, knowing eyes. Briefly, its gaze roamed to the skull-marked raven who sat in a tree above them, watching. The creature scoffed gently to itself, but made no other comment towards the other hybrid bird. Instead, it turned its attention to its guests, nodding to each as they greeted it. Although it didn't open its beak to speak, warm thoughts and images flooded each of their minds as the creature turned its large and attentive gaze to each in turn. Its mental communications were soft and showed no signs of hostility as its warmth flowed into their minds. Stepping back the creature motioned to the egg. Clearly they all know that whatever was inside was the reason why they had been called here, and the reason why it had decided to come. Images and the feeling of needing to be nurtured resonated from the creature into their minds, as it laid a large feather upon the shell, caressing it gently. Suddenly, from the egg, three cerndyrs appeared - although clearly they weren't cerndyrs. They were illusory. As they solidified, they stood before Nasreen, Badger, and Ashamin, blinking gently with wide, adoring eyes. They looked as real as anything else - and yet the three would know that they were fake, having seen them appear from smoke only moments prior. Images and concern wafted from the owl hybrid into their minds, as illusion-crafted venomous snakes appeared. Each snake was larger than any real snake could have been, with fangs of about 10 inches protruding from their open mouths.
