The Chieftain's daughter sat there, swooning against the tree that had been so handily chosen to bear her weight. The heat here was nothing compared to the humidity of the home she had abandoned (especially since it was Orangemoon now), but when coupled with a traveler's weariness it was devastating. The sun peeking through the branches lit up her dappled coat, setting her sierra highlights seemingly on fire. She was oblivious to the fact that she was quite a vision, though - rather, she felt haggard and worn.

The moment her white-washed eyelids started to droop was the moment a striped unicorn entered her vicinity. With a sigh, she turned her bright orange gaze toward him and was quickly taken aback. He looked strikingly similar to the large feline predators that roamed her jungles, and for that she was thankful. Even if it was largely a coincidence, she welcomed the familiar taste this stallion had unknowingly granted her. And with that revelation yet another horned stallion, this time a golden prince coupled with a dark-colored deer, assumed his stance nearby.

She felt both of their eyes sweep over her physique. She knew she was pretty, in an exotic and unusual way that befit her hidden title and tropical origin. Usually she would take pride in the fact that she attracted the sights of testosterone-driven men, but at this moment she felt particularly vulnerable. No home, no parents, no close-knit familial group, not even the routine brush of the large fronds in the jungle. She wasn't very fond of feeling so defenseless.

Haughtily, she pushed her body away from the tree, her body falling naturally into a tall and proud position her mother had ingrained into her. Her sunset gaze drove bolts of indignation toward her companions, although she kept her voice cool and collected - very obviously in check. "Well, how lucky am I? To be rescued by two handsome men." Despite her attempt to control her snappy attitude, she spat the word rescued as if it were venom; did they assume she was some damsel in distress?

She could almost hear her mother's exasperation at how difficult she could be. No, this was not a time to verbally assault them; after all, they most likely had good intentions in mind. She closed her expressive eyes momentarily and visibly relaxd her feminine body, before opening them once more and training them upon the golden stallion, the one who had offered his name. Thranduil. It sounded so gallant. She approached him, almost like a serpent but with much more grace and much less malice. She hadn't earned the nickname "Viper" back at home for nothing.

Lacing her body around Thranduil's and ignoring his cervidae companion, she placed herself solidly between the two men. "Thranduil... I am Neschume." And just as quickly as she had gathered her wits earlier, her head snapped towards the tiger stallion, voluminous mane flowing with her movements. "And you are?" Or was he simply too cavalier to give his name to the likes of strangers?
