The more he watched her, the more he liked her. She had a judgmental reign that held together. Her gaze was cool and even, and when her voice swept along with that sass and venom she won her ticket. It wasn’t that the gold was particularly impressed of course. He had met his fair share of lady teases. A good time they might be, but he long ago learned good times don’t last. Instead it was the twenty or some odd unicorns in the Basin who could match that sass. His lips curls to think of her as one of the ranks. Stand out she might, but a quick tongue was one of the Basin’s specialties, she’d fit right in. So a brow raises to see the hint of what lay under the beauty, but a corner of his lips lift in a smirk.

Haldir was certainly not having that much fun. The small dark deer had kept to the other side of the gold from the tiger stripped creature. The deer was rarely afraid, and so he kept his cool better than most. His small head tried to pay attention to the most beautiful lady ahead, but once in a while it would dip, and look under his bonded with a tensely. The gold was ignorant of this though. His mind still contemplating far too much the mare before him. Did the gold really have good intentions? Probably not as golden as she thought, but for him, they weren’t bad. Mostly the truth, a little sprinkle of lies but that never hurt. Just as she hide herself, so did he. Under a guise of gold and gallant, he had the same venom.

Her she comes. Haldir, tucks close to the gold as he watchers her, but the gold is only thinking of the mare. His crowned head tilts, ears following her, but that was all. Otherwise his head remains still. Coming up she looks to him, and speaks again. Harks halfheartedly listen, amused mostly by her display. She had no clue what she was playing with. But then the golden didn’t either when it came to that far stallion. The tiger back spoke up of the Basin, and for a moment the golden’ breaks form. He raises his head and looks with a sharper eye, until the situation was at last revealed. Haldir visibly shrunk to hear the voice. The poor dear was not doing very well here. Nodding the gold, as the tiger back did, ignored the girl. “I am headed from here, you are welcome to join me. The Arch is tricky.” Besides the fact he would love to reveal his power there. In the valley of the mountains he took delight to think of coming through the Arch to find this little soul you have followed, your new boss.

The thought made the gold smile but he covers it well. Even with her head turned the golden continues after Sial gave his name. “You might enjoy the Aurora Basin Neschume, its winds have the same sharp bite as your tongue.” Oh now he was slipping a bit from his guise. But how could he not with sassy temptation there. “It is a stronghold though, and pleasant life in the mountains.” The golden now fully can’t control a small roll of laughter that echoes at the ends of his words. “I think it might suit your tastes.” What the hell did he know of her tastes? Nothing by the sharp words of a hello. Still, it was like him to assume, to jump conclusions. With that attitude, the golden could already see her there.
