The mare once again let her curiosity lead her to places. She was surrounded by lush grass that were adorned with stunning mountains. The wind had built up once more causing her chain to dance around her neck and her loose strands to tickle her face. The frosty air had begun to fade, had the mare gone too far away from her new home already? Would her curiosity soon get her into trouble…again? She shook the thought out of her head, not wanting to overthink or stress about it. Her eyes wandered off, looking at the gorgeous surroundings. It wasn't warm, but warmer then everywhere else the mare had voyaged off to. This Helovia revealed its charming secrets more each day. Her stones sunk into the damp grass that only had a thin layer of snow covering it, a much different feel after walking in the Basin’s much more icy tundra for so long. She noticed the white flowers that quietly sat in the grass, dancing around in the breeze. It reminded her of the flowers once kept in her hair but soon had died and been snatched from her mane. The mare seemed to be alone in the foggy, vast meadow. Once again she had a deep desire for a companion, whether it be a friend, lover or another animal. She just wanted someone to fill the lonely void in her heart that was left by her brother. The mare let a quiet sigh escape her mouth, the white air quickly faded. Her muscles slightly ached, even though it was a short trek to reach the field. She took the silence of the land to give her some thinking or relaxing time.

The mare's cream colored hooves struck the earth with soft thumps, scattering pebbles in all directions. The path up the mountain was becoming easier for her to traverse despite it's toils. She enjoyed the field that lay at the end of the path. It was solemn, but tranquil in it's somber tone. She felt safe there. Eden felt safe in the Basin as well, but it was inhabited by other horses as well. It's not as if she didn't love the Basin members, they were her family, but she needed to enjoy her own company sometimes.
With a final heave the light ashen mare sprang into the field. A dizzying sensation came about her, coursing through her veins in a single instant, but it was gone as soon as it came. She shook her head, deciding it was just fatigue or a need for oxygen. She shook a light layer of precipitation off her coat, a light breeze catching the tendrils of her mane as she did so. Her muscles were sore, but it was a good sore. The kind of sore that let you know you're getting in shape.
Eden's golden gaze surveyed the field as she took a few steps deeper into it's heart. A chocolate colored shape caught her eyes amidst the fog of the field. The mare took careful steps towards the horse, the snow crunching beneath her creamy hooves. The figure had pale spots on its rump, it's hair colored similarly. It was decorated with swirled horns and golden hoops. The horse intrigued Eden. She had never come across such a sight. Despite her yearning to be alone, the light ashen mare approached the unfamiliar figure. Her curiosity was stronger than that desire.
But..what would she say? She needed a conversation starter. The one that had worked best for the pale mare was getting her horn stuck in a tree, but this field had a definite lack of trees for her to get caught in. Eden bit her lip, her golden gaze flicking to her hooves, then back up to the stranger. She smiled, taking a deep breath before stating the only conversation starter that she could think of.

"Your jewelry is pretty."

Nailed it.

"blah blah blah."
