I swooped down into the beautiful and colourful meadow. I was built to fly, like all birds are yes, but this place looks too wonderful to view from so high. Today I was pegasus, not crow. My transformation magic felt so distant when I was crow that I had to shift in fear that I may not be able to if I left it any longer. Wrong, strange... I don't know! All is not at peace in this world as it once was, I have a bad feeling. It is not good when a bird gets a bad feeling, especially important birds like me.

This is a lovely place. I bet it is full worms to eat, ah but I am not crow I am horse. Maybe I might catch one whilst eating the grass here. That would be sublime. A much better feeling than this blasted heat! It is hard being of ebony coat, it seems to bare the brunt of the suns anger more than other coats. If only I could be crow again!
