Katerina Ears twisted forward as a the sound of crunching echoes it's remembrance into her thoughts. The air around her stung at her coat, needles pressing into stormy skin that was unsure of what it was feeling. In her planet, this white stuff that floated in the air and on the ground was non existent, and neither was the strange numbing feeling that spread throughout her body. Her view was slightly clouded by her own quick breaths, a black figure drifting into the sights of her silver lobes. Her eyes looked her approacher down, his cloak of ebonite fitted to muscles of obvious steel. Wings were stitched into the black flesh, of sizes much larger then her home, where those of wings were nothing but the size of a small canine creature. Argentate orbs did not cease in their icy ways as the male came much closer the necessary. Her posture was straight, regal, and empowering, after all she was a princess. Perhaps not of these lands, but her title traveled. His introduction of himself was interrupted by the pitter patter of another's steps. A single ear swiveled to the sound of the white stuff shifting and breaking underneath the weight of another acquaintance. Her eyes looked him over as well, taking careful steps to assure that she had memorized the look of each male. This one was of pearly whites with specs of color dotting the ivory pelt. Whereas the other, had two ink like wings, this one had an elegant twisted weapon. Katerina saw a flash of remembrance on the white's face, now knowing the name of the black brute who stood very close to her. Katerina glared at the brute, Caleb, but nodded her head in greeting. She then turned to the white, Mauja, and also gave a respected dip of her crowned cranium. "Hello to you both" She said in tones of trained nobility and respect. "I am Katerina, of a planet far away from this dimension" She held herself together, but somehow she felt as if she had royally screw up. It quickly dawned on her that this world, the place she had entered had no route back home. She had taken a one way ticket to her freedom, her curiosity cursing her. Wasn't it the freedom she had desired for so long? It felt rawly fresh, something she had always wanted but now that she had it, what was she supposed to do? Shaking off these thoughts for another time, she looked at the two men, words drifting from her tongue. "World's edge? Surely it isn't so, that your realm gets the edge of the world?" A strike of jealously spoke through her innocent confusion, it was not of rude jealousy, but rather the breed of awe. Perhaps other realms weren't as wretched as she had heard.
