Conversation had not exactly been at the top of his to do list when he had woken that morning but it appeared to be a soothing remedy to his worn out brain. His duties had been coming first these last few weeks as he tried to keep busy to deter his mind from wandering to those things he wanted thrown away. It almost seemed that the harder you tried to forget them the harder it was to accomplish said task. If his mother was here perhaps she would have shared with him the name of the wizard that had binded his memory when he was young. His feet would never be able to touch that ground again out of fear that it would somehow change him into the monster that his father had become.

A smirk appears upon the grey's lips as the stag mentions a spar and the warmth of Kiara's fur coat. He could just imagine the scene now and sadly he could see his tigress winning just out of sheer luck. If that happened she would he bragging about it for years to come and never let him live it down that she had taken down one of Tembovu's great size. "Aye but be warned her teeth and claws are much sharper than they look." Chuckling softly he recalls the many times she had sliced and diced him in their time together despite not meaning to. If she hadn't meant to be doing that he would really hate to be the poor sucker on the other side if she was actually trying. Hey if it wasn't him on the other side and no one was dying he would be all for seeing the outcome. Dropping his eyes to his companion he studied her for a moment comparing her to her former fuzzy furball version. Even then both claws and teeth still hurt especially when she decided it would be fun to practically chew on his ankles thinking he could play with her as another of her species would.

Chuckling at the giant's jokes he finds himself able to semi relax with something else to occupy his mind at the moment. The soft light of the dawn definitely helped with the mood as well portraying the day to come as one that promised lots of sunshine to hopefully melt the mounds of snow. Frostfall was not all that bad, nevermind it really was with the sleet, snow, and high winds. It was like a constant game of who freezes their arse off first. Acknowledging Tembovu with a bob of his head he offers a soft smile remembering what living in the Edge was like before the invasion. Between the trees trying to take you out at every turn with their ninja branches and the crazy psycho Goddess it became more than an adventure at times.

Hesitation is drawn from the next question asked of him as he debates whether he dared to share any part of his internal conflicts. So far the only person that knew anything about what he was going through was Kiara but he knew that she would never betray his trust for she was as much a part of him as he was her. "He might help. Talk and see." Surprised by this encouragement he wasn't sure what to do about it especially when it came from Kiara. He shouldn't really be all that surprised for he had been able to feel her pressing concern for his wellbeing ever since all this crap started, but there was a part of him that did not want others to know out of fear they might judge him as being like who he feared the most. " Too many really to count but lately it's been the loss of my family." He finally replied after multiple minutes of drawn out silence.
