Okay so, apparently miss bitchface over there didn't like me telling her to back off of my herd mate. Oh well tough shit. Wow, I think i'm been around the rougher members of the Throat a bit to much lately.... They are starting to rub off on me. Course then again, maybe that was a good thing.
Then the chaos breaks loose and we all start attacking. Yeah yeah big whoop. I had made my way over to one side in the sky. Just as my fire balls seem to hit the bear, my golden eyes spot the other danger. "Ranjiri! Look out!" I scream as loud as I can but it's to late. My patrol partner falls, the sick sound of her wing being torn apart. I could barely hear it over the sound of the fight below. That split second was all it took for the Bear God to get a good swipe in at me. With a thud he slaps me hard. I tuck my wings in as I fall, groaning as I hit the land below.
I raise my head up off the ground and quickly scramble back onto my hooves. I move back away from the fight, my head along with the rest of my body still aching from the fall. I stand there, shaking for a few moments until I can get myself straight. It's then that my attention goes back to Ranjiri. I race over to her as fast as I can. Her feathers are everywhere. I think about picking one up, and decide against it. I wouldn't want anyone else to take my feathers from something like this. I stand there as the fight goes around me... I don't know what to do and who to attack... I just know I need to keep her safe....
