Of course something interesting did happen, but not in the mirror. A dark shadow moves by Ashamin, and earth eyes glance into the shadow piercing into the darkness to see a familiar face. That face though was still gazed upon with great concern. They were private thoughts though, as the gold looked over this creature. It was Ode, he had seen him before, and even spoke to him. Why was it so shocking? Because he was supposed to be dead. Harks lean back, and then back forward. On the battlefield the stallion had been dead. Right? He wanted to shake his head and forget he was looking, but he was trapped in his discomfort.
Then it clicked. Perhaps he hadn’t been dead? Only playing? Or was he immortal? The last seemed so unlikely, but magic in these parts was so strange. Regardless, he did let one line slip out. “Ode, you’re looking much better.” Well, not exactly, the shadows couldn’t hide all of his rough shape. But regardless, the golden finally snorts in amusement of his new knowledge and releases the creature from his gaze to look back at the mirror, waiting.
