He was running, running further and further from the growls and snarls that surrounded him. Blood was roaring in his ears and he did his best not to scream and screech, begging for mercy before he was even caught. He had trapped himself in the labyrinth again, it nearly suffocating him with the tight walls with vicious vines and poisonous plants. He was hyperventilating at this point, trying to keep conscious through the sheer panic before he saw her, standing before him with dark smoke surrounding her. Digging his creamy hooves into the ground he let a shrill scream escape his pink lips, finally stopping himself, but not far enough to avoid the smoke that began engulf his ivory frame. Suddenly he couldn't see, couldn't breathe couldn't think and he was losing it when.... it was clear. Lush and vibrant even in the dead of night; life returning to this land that was once chaotic waste. It was breathtakingly beautiful and he didn't even know how to respond to it.
He forgot about her for a moment, forgot about the demon that was most likely on their heels which would ensue destruction, because the vision was just so gorgeous that he couldn't fathom much else. That was until he saw how many others had actually gathered. All one could see was the whites of his mint green eyes as he skittered back, mouth agape as he tried to gasp but no air would come. Heart was beating a million miles a minute and the world began to spin, the light fading in and out before it was suddenly black and the man couldn't register anything anymore...
