Despite the warm weather a chill settled in my bones and it made my entire body shake becuase this land wasn't right. It took me far too long to realize it and it made me think back to the bear god that we had fought not too long ago. Would there be another god to force its way here and fight us? Could we make it though another battle? How many more times would this happen before it stopped...
Would anyone fight for the Goddess as they had for the God of Time?
Rather than go and stand next to my mother and my aunt I moved toward Thantos, the dragon stallion that had come through the rift right before the bear god. I stopped next to him, but was careful not to touch him because of the sores that littered my skin, and... well, I figured he had to be as puzzled as I was about what was happening, if not more. She wasn't his god. I sighed softly and glanced toward him. "She is the Goddess of the Moon." I offered the little tidbit of information, and try as I might I couldn't hold back what came after. "She murdered my brother..." and countless others.
I guess it was a little bit of a warning to him that if there was a fight it would probably be very different from what we'd experienced before.
"."
