Ming Yue
Showing our pale light in the moonlight.
Ming Yue watched with her own solid thoughts, her pools entirely fixed on the stranger who had thankfully paiupon his own handsome frame. reciative stance upon his own handsome frame. She then shrugs herself and takes one more snatch at the long grass with a struggling weak neck that could barely support her delicate skull.

And then he spoke, with a laugh for good measure. Talk of the Goddess of her beloved moon gave the unnatural splashed a swing in her starving step and a glint of love within her orange pools that had been dull for so long. And that opened the floodgates for her own enthusiasm towards the Goddess to come spurting through in slow words towards her new acquaintance:

"She is a lady I wish to meet somebody and thank personally for giving us such beautiful moonlight," and with a small sigh she gave the golden brute a question, "do you believe that moonlight is more powerful and spiritual than the sun's light?" Her words came with a cool tone that was hidden underneath her low volume but her pools spoke of softness and curiosity. She had no interest in sparking a conversation of endless small talk. To speak of the moonlight and its creator within this world, something that meant everything to her was what she sought from the stag. After all, he seemed like an intelligent creature, definitely on par with her own intelligence.

The azure and ebony frame then watched the newcomer intently as he seemed to gaze up at the heavens, evidently caught up in his own thoughts that obviously had something to do with her one and only love. But Ming Yue knew not to pry. And she was far too tired to even attempt to ask should the brute become irritated and lash out at her nosy behaviour. Instead she sighed and gave another snatch at the grass in the hopes that she would not be seen doing so.

And then she felt his gaze landing on her tortured frame. She was skin and bones and the fae felt as if she was being given some sort of sympathy for her appearance. She took little notice of this as it made her feel weak and vulnerable, and instead concentrated on his words. He too had a question for her, about the quality of the food. With a tilt of her cranium and a glitter of amusement in her pools, she spoke up at him, "It is. Why, have you not tasted this before?" She gave one step forward and brushed her left front dagger over the grass in a soft swoop to encourage him to give reasonto object at her comment.
Another question went her way...

What is your name?

In this land, the queen felt as she was a tiny speck of insignificance. And to be asked of her name was to be known to someone she never believed existed, at least not outside her own world. But she tipped her skull in greeting as she spoke, "My name is Ming Yue. And yours...?" To be named is to be known, Ming thought with a collected contentedness. She was making herself known in her new world...
