Ming Yue
Showing our pale light in the moonlight.
The golden brute asked a blunt question to the cool fae. He stood there with little seeming to pass through his brain once she had asked him questions of the Moon Goddess, and Ming Yue did not quite know what to answer to this sudden outburst. Did he have memory loss? She simply shook her cranium to free herself of the confusion and spoke softly towards the stranger,
"Forgive me, I may not be making much sense tonight..." She smiled towards him sweetly, trying to bring back some sort of attention. Yet as she does so the stag moved his cranium downt towards the crown, and she wondered what was happening to him, "Are you alright, sir?"

Thranduil. That was his name. It felt quite fitting for the strange creature she had come across in this beautiful meadow. He gave off this demeanor that even in a band of rogues Ming Yue had never come across before, and so the cool creature did not know quite how to deal with him. She replied in a warm and courteous manner towards his name, "It's a pleasure to meet you, Thranduil."

And the attention once again felt its way back to her original question about the power of the moon and the sun, and his sighs made Ming Yue unsure whether she had stepped in the right direction with the choice of conversation. But with a small grunt inside, she then remembered that it was Thranduil himself who had initiated such talk.

The sun is power, and the God who directs it will surely mind you of such.

Ming Yue's pools were wide with intent curiosity at what he meant by such things, and whether the actions from the Sun God meant positive or negatives affects on the world. And she heard the answer from his golden velveteens, talk of the light being a blinding prison. And his grin calls on a lighter view to the Moon Goddess:

...The moon, her light is enough to guide you, feign in purity and beauty. Yet it does not burn so harshly, it is soft and gray, tempting in the shadows of darkness, and holding both them and her light at the same time.

Ming Yue felt a wash of warmth inside her as another creature spoke with such, what appeared to be adoration, as herself towards her beloved moon and the Goddess who controls it was a feeling to behold. Someone who understood the beauty of its rays? "You speak as if you have experience of the powers of the two gods," she half asked, half stated. And she continued with the adoration pouring into her voice and into her deep pools that bounced the moonlight,"And you are so correct, the light is purity and beauty entwined into something that cannot be measured..." Thranduil's smile was contagiously met with a smile across the azurine fae's velveteens.

Such direction that this conversation had turned to. Ming Yue had forgotten of her weight and strength woes as she had a proper intellectual conversation with an equally intellectual creature. Thranduil spoke of power, and his wisdom he shared with her. To this Ming Yue could only nod and agree, before saying, "Power is a strange concept, but I guess like everything, it's all in the eye of the beholder. And I think your idea of power makes more sense than a lot of the creatures' ideas on what it means to be powerful." These words had obviously taken the ragged creature into a different unknown territory, temptingly moving away from the power of the moon's rays. This was now about power on the wider spectrum, something Ming Yue had only ever been on the receiving end of. She had never had power...

The golden stag seemed as tired in appearance as she did in both appearance and mind, and to this she asked a rather daring question, "You seemed tired. I am too, if you couldn't tell," she chuckled embarrassingly, giving her chest a quick nip with her teeth in a bid to preen her dull, sickly coat, "would you like to eat with me and we sleep in the grass until morning?"
