The self pity part of Eden's illness had come and gone. The annoyance set in for a while, but was quickly taken over by unadulterated anger. That stupid wolf had cursed her with this disease and he deserved to pay for it. He had already paid for it in full with his life. Therefore, Eden turned her rage onto anything that would take it.

Tree? Die motherfucker. You don't understand. I'm sick, I don't know what caused it, and someone is going to pay for it.

Flower? Die. Die. Die. No mercy. Feel my pain.

Rabbits? Get your humping asses off my lawn before I tear you to shreds and use your blood as cough syrup.

Some say that hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. In this case, hell hath no fury like a teenager with an unidentifiable illness. She had never considered herself an easily angered person, but her helplessness was justification enough for her rage. It was anguish turned to violence only because there was no where else to turn it. Wallowing in her agony did no good anyway. Neither did getting angry at sex crazed bunnies, but it was something easier to focus on than the continuous unanswerable question of why me? Why me? Why? Why?! *wheeze* WHY?! WHY?!

As she was simmering in her rage Eden barely noticed the change of scenery around her. That, or she didn't care anymore. Her vision wasn't doing well anyway. It was filled with so many colors, too many colors. She had never longed for silence more than now. The louder the sound, the brighter the color.

Oddly enough a sudden burst of pastels filled her sight. It was an unusual array of colors, too many to belong to only a few subjects. She considered ignoring it, turning around and trying to find somewhere else to yell at shrubs. But something made her continue her course. When she had stumbled upon the Moon Goddess it was a loud, clustered sight. She found herself hoping it was a similar situation. Who better than to heal her than a god?

The colors grew more vibrant as she neared. Eden tossed her mane over her ears in an attempt to subdue them. She made out the shapes of horses, and some sort of tunnel. She was tempted to scream BE QUIET at those closest to her, but she held her tongue.

Getting closer to the horses wasn't helping the colors, so she stayed a distance away from them until she was able to get a clear picture of what was happening. There was a bright horse, a majestic, fiery one. It had the same look of dignity the Moon Goddess did. She assumed this was another deity of Helovia. The other horses eventually came into focus as well. Among them she saw a familiar face: Rexanna!

Eden trotted across the flats toward her herd mate, regretting the decision slightly as the colors around her grew more vibrant. Her head ached because of it which certainly wasn't helping with the whole black goop thing. She came to a stop behind Rexanna, wheezing and dripping black goop. She was a shameful sight. Eden didn't dare to say anything to her friend, for the last thing she desired was those close to her knowing she was in such a pitiful state.

Therefore, Eden stood and waited to see what would develop of this strange set of circumstances she had happened upon.
