I'M FRIENDS WITH THE MONSTER_UNDER MY BED

Something drew him in again. Power, most likely, though he couldn't say what exactly because he had no sense for something like that and he normally stuck to his snowy north. Well, Time God had suggested they go South, so he went. Everyone else though, what were they here for? Surely not duty, so there had to be more. Something, expected, something, summoning, something, magnificent.

Still weak in body, but strong in mind and steeled in soul, Öde traversed the lands until he drew upon what was new and different and attractive. He marveled at the reflections that danced off the flat surface of the land, and though it had a certain allure, the way strange things always did, he couldn't help but wonder why the god found this place fitting to fight for and bring back (because that's what was happening again, wasn't it?). He glanced up from his toes which he'd been watching carve through the sand, shining red eyes dancing towards the brilliant light of the Sun. So, this was the god the tiger mare served.

He had to admit, he preferred his own lightning deity and the dark bitch that had forced his hand when a wolf is what she brought back. Still, a god was a god and there was no denying their absolute glory. Respectfully Öde bowed his head, though he traveled still, and as his face lifted he caught sight of The Reaper on the edges he himself was breaking into. With a confidence granted by shared blood, however poorly known, Öde strode to stand beside his Basin lord, cocking a hind foot as he settled in beside him.

"Ready, uncle?" he asked with a slow casualness that was out of place given their rank and their history. That mattered little to Öde though once Oblivion had told him to watch over his blood and shared the names of his relations.
