stars in your multitudes, scarce to be counted. filling the darkness with order and light.
You are the sentinels. silent and sure. keeping watch in the night.
The sun was not an ally of the pale, naked mare. Harsh rays threatened to burn fragile skin. Before the bright sun could turn her bodice red and swell with pain the silken maiden slipped beneath the shade of the boundless trees that made up the Threshold. Thoughts questioned her motives - encouraged her to turn around. She had been out here far too long yet not long enough. Nuray longed to unlock the secrets of this place. Perhaps even unlock to the ethereal realm in which she was born.

The urge wasn't nearly as pressing as when she first arrived. She had been accepted with much welcome into the World's Edge. Their kindness, especially Tembovu's, was very generous. But it wasn't just that. In this land where taint battled those that which to purify its greedy touch, she had met the Goddess of her beloved moon. Nuray had found herself fighting alongside the one she worshiped dearly and the patron of the herd she was now beginning to consider home.

Gracefully she slunk in the shadows: an action that seemed like a contradiction. Yet there was always an underlying elegance to the mare's every move. As she wandered she found herself forced out from her thoughts. Voices sounded in the distant. From what she had been told, the Threshold was a place where new souls were brought when being transported to Helovia. Immediately the lady picked up her step lightly, albeit not foolishly rushing into who-knows-what.

The sight revealed to be a welcoming one - one void of threat. A mare and a stallion had gathered around a young filly. Golden eyes rested on the carefree lass and she found herself glancing around. Was she all alone? These two did not look like her parents. No, they were acting far too unfamiliar. There was no familial bond between this trio.

"Greetings. I am Nuray, of the World's Edge." she offered to the two older horses before addressing the filly, "What are you doing out here all by your lonesome, darling?" The filly's safety was Nuray's number one priority, although she couldn't help but smile at her behavior. Ah, what she would give to prance about, to be young and naive once again.

"Talk?"

ooc welcome! <3
