As the others talked the colt couldn't help but only be able to focus on Alayaya pondering what it could be that she had not said. His mind was so preoccupied at the moment it was impossible to say what he really thought for all he could picture was the filly. It had been awhile since he had been able to play with someone his own age, come to think about it he hadn't played with anyone else since the boat ride. From what he had gathered it was some sort of world ending kinda thing but water washed it all away or something like that. Spice had been with him when they all had got ushered up a big ramp and packed like sardines into something with three walls. Thankfully he had been a little smaller then so for Spice and him they actually had tons of room to do whatever they wanted. The rain had started falling and there was lots of gurgling sloshing noises as they got tossed around, maybe he was exaggerating just a little but it made the story sound better. So they got tossed around and went upside down (yes total exaggeration) then the rain stopped and there was a bang and then they all got out of the boat. It hadn't looked much different but it sure smelled different, a cleaner fresher kinda scent.

Only half paying attention he jumped when Alayaya bounded over in front of him. Yay he actually got acknowledged! Well by something other than whatcha doing guy at least. Perking up almost instantly he tilted his ears forward to attention as the girl spoke again. First thing that made him beam with pride was that she had called him by his name! and to add bonus points she liked it! Thrilled to just have her full undivided attention he made sure to listen extra carefully to make sure he heard everything, a smile plastered upon his face the entire time. When the game of tag was mentioned he nearly jumped for joy wanting to just go play now instead of waiting for the adults to finish talking. Why did he have to be getting older, he liked it better when he was younger and no one really cared about what he did well except for mother. "I like tag!" He replied enthusiastically flashing his tail with contained excitement eager to just play.

It took a couple minutes for him to remember the reason he had come to the threshold in the first place so he guessed he had to add something about home. "If you like waterfalls my home has lots of em and there are caves and lots of neat things." Really he had no idea what else the Fall's had to offer other than a home for his brain had shifted into play mode rather than thinking mode. If Alayaya wanted to come home with him they could play lots! Maybe she would be his friend and they could go on adventures and do lot of cool things.  Watching the other mare with curiosity he wondered what she might say now that she knew their names. Boring adult things probably he thought with slight disappointment. "I like your name too! Alayaya." He said trying to ensure he pronounced her name properly just as she had said it.
