Mauja declares the lion's eating to be disgusting, and there's a crack as Dominus smugly snaps the bone in half, then uses one hooked talon to scrape out the juicy marrow from the centre as though to prove quite how disgusting he is. "The lion's name is Dominus - don't be afraid of him, he won't hurt you." The white beast releases a sinister snort and fixes his sharp blue eyes on the filly, shards of shattered bone poking between his teeth. "Don't be so su-u-u-uuuure," is his singsong response to Nyx, but when she flattens her ears at him, he snorts and returns to plucking out the marrow without terrorising either of the girls further.

For the first time, Nyx notices the young companion nestled between the second filly's legs. She's just wondering what the little thing is when Areli proceeds to trip over it...and right into Nyx's electrified body. Whoopsie. The silver stands for a second to ensure the girl gets the full effect, before hauling herself smartly backwards before she can cause too much agonising damage to the poor youngster. She grimaces as she sucks her magic back inside, shaking off the remaining tingly residue. "Are you okay?" It'll probably have hurt, a lot, to be suddenly and unceremoniously zapped, and the mare fixes the youngster with her concerned glance. More concern than she'd usually possess, anyway - perhaps due to the child brewing within her own womb, making her that bit more maternal than usual. Even Mauja extends his muzzle to try and comfort the filly, and Nyx is hardpressed to contain her shock at the ice man's sudden affection. Maybe cute little children bring out his inner fluffy beastie. Not for the first time she wonders if he has children of his own - but that would involve him screwing someone, and that...is not something she can picture. Well, she can, but...no, let's not. Besides, would the world not implode if Mauja got laid? He always seems so pure, like driven snow. He dabbles in murder, that's apparent, but the other nefarious deed just seems so...below him, somehow. Like he's above such dirtyness.
