“Not much farther, at all,” a deep, resounding voice rumbles from behind the walking equines. The large antelope-marked stallion was returning from his own trek from the Threshold— though his was fruitless. So he was happy to see that another’s was not as futile as his had been. He just didn't understand the allure of being an outcast— he shook his head free of the thoughts of Eira following the sensual, draconian mare. Perhaps it was more a lure of flesh than lifestyle. That was the only way he could reason it.
He shakes his head slightly to clear these thoughts, turning his full attention to the uni-winged mare. Black tipped ears perk towards her, lively interest vivid in his eyes as he meets her own, glittering black gaze. The gold on her wings and mane leap out against the snow of her coat. She’s dainty and sturdy all at once, with delicate moment but baroque stature.
He smiles, falling in step beside the smaller mare, “Welcome to the Edge. You’re in good company,” he glances at the Nuray, Opehlia, and the palomino mare that he only vaguely knew from meetings, who are all further up ahead of the newcomer. “Watch your step. Most of the glass is picked up through here, but there are some shards hidden in the earth,” he continues as they pass over the threshold between to standing pieces of glass wall.
“I am Tembovu, Glazier of the herd. Do you have any talents you want to offer or sharpen…?” His voice ends in a question as he implies the inquiry of her name. He inhales deeply as he waits, enjoying the familiar scent of forest and sea— of the Edge, of home.
